The University of Dar es Salaam is a public university in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. It was established in 1961 as an affiliate college of the University of London. The university became an affiliate of the University of East Africa in 1963, shortly after Tanzania gained its independence from the United Kingdom. In 1970, UEA split into three independent universities: Makerere University in Uganda, the University of Nairobi in Kenya, and the University of Dar es Salaam.
Duration of the Assignment: One-year renewable contract depending on performance and availability of funds.

(iii) Certified copies of relevant Certificates and Transcripts;
(iv) Mode of communication, e.g. telephone, e-mail, fax etc.; and (v) Recent two (2) Passport Size Photos
(i) Applicants currently employed in the Public Service should channel their application letters through their respective Employers;
(ii) Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for an interview;
(iii) Incomplete applications will not be processed;
(iv) A signed application letter should be written in either Swahili or English and addressed to Deputy Vice Chancellor – Planning, Finance and Administration, P. O. Box 35091, University of Dar es Salaam.
